This Trip to Sri Lanka includes some of the best highlights for a holiday in Sri Lanka. We have chosen some nice hotels which offer more personalized service and try to give you a more homely stay for your holiday. On arrival, you drive to the historical town of Dambulla and spend three nights exploring the historical sites like Sigiriya Rock, Pidurangala Rock and Dambulla cave temple. We recommend an evening safari to see Elephants in the Wild at Minneriya National Park. Then you spend one night in Kandy – Sri Lanka’s hill capital and explore the Temple of the Tooth & Botanical Gardens. You then take the scenic train journey up to Ella and spend two nights in this area and do some nice walking and hikes in the hills. Then drive down for four nights on a wonderful Beach in Sri Lanka.

ITINERARY
Day 1 :
Pickup from the airport/Hotel and drive to Sigiriya. (the drive will take up to 4 hours)
Day 2 :
Visit the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa and on the way back half day safari in Minneriya National Park.
Day 3 :
Early Morning climb Sigiriya Rock or Pidurangala rock, Evening in time for sunrise, Evening Dambulla temple caves.
Day 4 :
Morning drive to Kandy. (3 hrs drive) Visit temple of tooth, Kandy Botanical Gardens, and cultural dance show.
Day 5 :
Morning drive to Nuwara Eliya via a tea estate waterfalls and then take train to Ella. (5.5 hrs – tickets subject to availability)
Day 6 :
Climb Little Adam’s Peak, visit Halpe tea factory and Ella Gap or Nine Arch bridge.
Day 7 :
Morning visit Buduruwagala temple and drive to the south coast. Optional visit to Elephant transit home or a safari in Udwalawe.
Day 8 :
Beach stay
Day 9 :
Beach stay evening drive to The Galle Fort.
Day 10 :
Beach stay, maybe do a bit of snorkeling or a boat ride to check a cinnamon plantation.
Day 11 :
Drop off at the airport (2.5 hours)

Suite Lanka has a prized position on the broad Narigama Beach. Of traditional design, yet with bags of boutique flourishes, it perfectly captures the spirit of Sri Lanka. Sociable yet professional, it suits guests who like high standards but an informal atmosphere. All nine rooms have sea views, private terrace or veranda, king-sized beds (no twins), cable TV, safe, en suite bathrooms. The ground floor offers the most affordable double room, plus two one-bedroom suites that can sleep extra people in the suite area. One of the one-bedroom suites can also be sold as a two-bedroom option. The middle floor offers two superior rooms and two bigger deluxe rooms. The Penthouse floor has two large premier rooms with a private dining and relaxing area and can be sold separately or together.
