Kulu Safaris, Yala
Introduction

Kulu provides tented accommodation in Yala with touches of luxury for a more comfortable experience. The tailor-made wildlife experiences are based on individual interests including birds, butterflies, reptiles, or mammals. Children are encouraged to learn about animals and environmental conservation from a young age.
Location
The Kulu Safaris campsite in Yala is located at the edge of the picturesque Koccipathana lake surrounded by fauna and flora. Numerous species of birds and other wildlife can be spotted around the campsite.
Accommodation
The Kulu Safaris camp sites in Yala consists of 4 spacious tented units. Keeping in mind Kulu’s spirit of leaving a minimal footprint on the surrounding nature, there are no permanent structures and the tented units can easily be dismantled when required. Manufactured in South Africa, each sturdy tent is over 200 sq.ft in size and raised on a platform. The tents are situated away from each other to provide privacy. There are 3 tents that can accommodate upto three adults; and 2 spacious family tents that sleeps four guests.

- Tents have good ventilation, fitted with fly screens, and are fully sealed to keep away insects.

- Ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold showers.
Facilities
A picnic breakfast or lunch is provided while on the jeep safaris. Once back in the camp, dinner is served outdoors under the starlit sky. Kulu Safaris offers special curated wildlife and nature experiences based on guest interests. Kayaking along the magnificent Koccipathana lake, walking trails through the jungles, or a jeep safari through the Yala National Park are arranged at your convenience. Kulu uses 4WD Toyota Landcruisers for the jungle safaris. These vehicles are modified to provide comfort, safety, and photo opportunities for ardent photographers. The Naturalist guides are well trained and will share their knowledge and experience with guests ensuring a memorable wildlife experience for all.
