Location
Palmyrah House is located on Mannar Island which is reached from mainland Mannar via a causeway. Mannar can be accessed travelling from the North Central region or travellling south from Jaffna.

Superior Rooms with Garden Access (30 sqm): Located on the ground floor, these 4 Twin Rooms have wheelchair access and opens out to a private veranda and the gardens. Interiors are furnished with twin beds and lounge chairs on the veranda. Accommodates 2 adults.
Deluxe Bedrooms with Balcony or Garden View (60 sqm): The 4 ground level Deluxe rooms open out to a private terrace with garden views and 4 Upper level Deluxe rooms have private balconies. Accommodates up to 3 adults.
Elevated Suites with Private Balconies (88 sqm): These 2 luxurious upper level suites accommodate up to 3 guests. Interiors are tastefully furnished with King-sized beds, window seating to take in the magnificent wilderness; and swing seats in the private balconies. Ensuite bathrooms have twin vanities, rain showers, and standalone bath tubs.

The Palmyrah House prides itself on their delicious Northern cuisine which is prepared using spices from Jaffna, fresh seafood from the local fisherman and vegetables from the market. Western dishes are also served, and a picnic breakfast is prepared for those heading off early morning, for bird watching. Dine at the in-house restaurant or in the privacy of your own verandah or balcony.
