Located in Kalkudah Bay in the District of Batticaloa, Karpaha Sands Resort can be reached in 1 hour via Polonnaruwa in the North Central province. The Eastern hills can be reached from this region turning in land from Batticaloa.

Karapaha Sands offers 17 spacious tented Suites situated directly on the beach or immersed in private gardens. Indoor and outdoor spaces are designed with stone, wood and fabrics that blend seamlessly with the surroundings. Each luxurious suite consists of a bedroom, living area, private deck, ensuite bathrooms with bathtub and outdoor rain showers, and plenty of outdoor space.

Palam Suites (110 sqm): The ocean front Palam Suites open out to spectacular sea views. Furnished with king-sized beds and are perfect for couples.
Kolaya Suites (90 sqm + 800 sqm of garden): These secluded suites are situated in their own private gardens with Palmyrah trees and other indigenous plants from the region. Furnished with king-sized beds. Ideal for a couple.
Seed Suites (180 sqm +1000 sqm of garden): Also set in private gardens, the Seed Suites consists of 2 suites that are ideal for families with children. Has 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room and private terrace. Accommodates a family of 4 or 2 couples.
