ITINERARY
Day 1, 2 & 3: : BENTOTA
Arrive. Transfer directly to Villa Bentota, a luxurious boutique hotel in Bentota. Bask in the sun and be pampered for the next three days.
Day 4 & 5 : : GALLE
Experience Galle’s colonial heritage, inland rural villages, paddy fields, and ancient temples. Stay two nights at Kahanda Kanda, an immensely stylish villa on the edge of Koggala Lake.
Day 6, 7 & 8 : : TANGALLE
Go snorkelling, diving, or whale and dolphin watching. Venture into the light jungles of Yala National Park where elephant and leopard roam. Stay at Mawella Villa on the beach.
Day 9, 10 & 11: : HILL COUNTRY
Nowhere in the Sri Lankan highlands is more acclaimed than Tea Trails, a collection of tea planters’ bungalows offering sumptuous standards. If you can bear to depart from this blissful setting, trek, cycle or kayak at a nearby reservoir.
Day 12 & 13 : : KANDY
Experience Kandy’s rich cultural heritage. Visit the lakeside Temple of the Tooth where a sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha’s is enshrined. Relax for two nights at the luxurious Kandy House, a refurbished Kandyan ancestral home. Transfer to the airport for your journey back home.
