Situated on a working tea plantation, Goatfell is a fully restored 4 bedroom colonial bungalow that maintains its old world charm blended with modern conveniences. Location
Goatfell is situated amidst the Concordia Estate, a working tea plantation in Kandapola, just half an hour away from Nuwara Elilya town. Nuwara Eliya can be reached by car or by train via Kandy.
Accommodation
The 4 well laid out bedrooms open out to garden verandahs with spectacular views of the surrounding hills and tea plantation. Interiors are spacious and has antique and modern furnishings including four-poster beds, arm chairs and writing desks. Rooms are equipped with heaters, blankets, and even hot water bottles to keep guests warm and cozy during the cool nights.

Concordia Double Bedroom (40 sqm): The 3 spacious Concordia Double Bedrooms are furnished with king-size four-poster beds, arm chairs and writing desk. Accommodates up to 3 guests. One of the Double Bedrooms can be connected with the adjoining Twin Room to create a spacious suite for families with children.
Concordia Twin Bedroom (42 sqm): Furnished with twin four-poster beds, this bedroom is ideal for friends travelling together. The Bedroom opens out to a private verandah with garden and mountain views.
Facilities
Dine on Sri Lankan and western cuisine prepared with fresh vegetables and local produce. Meals are served outdoors on the terrace looking out to the gardens and mountains beyond. Goatfell offers an `All Inclusive Rateā which includes all mealsā¦.breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner; snacks and drinks, tea and coffee, wines, beers, and spirits throughout the day. There is much to do in and around the bungalow. Go bird watching or explore the working tea plantation and enjoy an authentic Ceylon Tea experience. Return to the bungalow for a refreshing dip in the swimming pool. By dusk relax with a glass of wine by the fire place followed by a sumptuous dinner. Goatfell offers several excursions including a morning out in Nuwara Eliya town, visit to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens, and exploring the magnificent Hortain Plains National Park.
