You will begin your journey in Negombo with an overnight stay, relaxing by the beach after arrival. Nextday, journey to Kitulgala for one night at Palmstone Retreat, a rainforest destination ideal for white-water rafting and nature experiences. Then travel to the scenic hill country of Ella for three nights at The Pinnacle Ella. Discover Little Adam’s Peak, Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Falls, Ella Rock, and enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere. Proceed to Udawalawe for one night at Centuria Wild, visiting the Elephant Transit Home and optionally enjoying another safari experience. . Next, head inland to Yala for two nights at O2 Villas, Yala, including an exciting safari in Yala National Park to spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. Travel south to Mirissa for four nights at Mirissa Beach Villa. Explore the historic Galle Fort on the way and enjoy beach relaxation, whale watching (seasonal), and coastal sightseeing. Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your private driver and transferred to Negombo, a charming coastal town known for its fishing heritage and sandy beaches. After checking in, relax and enjoy the peaceful mountain views or explore Ella town at a leisurely pace.
Spend the day discovering Ella’s natural highlights. Walk up Little Adam’s Peak for breathtaking panoramic views, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge hidden among lush greenery, and enjoy an adrenaline rush on the Flying Ravana zipline. The relaxed atmosphere and cool climate make Ella a favourite among travellers.
Use this day to explore Ella more deeply. Options include hiking to Ella Rock, visiting the scenic Ravana Falls, joining a local Sri Lankan cooking class, or simply relaxing at one of Ella’s many charming cafés while enjoying the mountain scenery.
In the morning, drive to Udawalawe. Visit the Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned and injured baby elephants are rehabilitated before being released back into the wild. Depending on your preference, you may also choose to enjoy an optional afternoon safari in Udawalawe National Park, well known for its large elephant population.

Wake up early for an exciting jeep safari in Yala National Park, one of Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife reserves. The park is home to leopards, elephants, crocodiles, deer, and a wide variety of birdlife. After the safari, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Continue your journey along the southern coastline towards Mirissa, with a stop in Hirikeitya along the way. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, known for its colonial architecture, cobbled streets, boutique shops, and stunning ocean views from the ramparts. After exploring, proceed to Mirissa and enjoy a relaxed evening by the beach, perfect for watching the sunset.
Spend some days enjoying Mirissa’s laid-back beach vibe. Early risers may opt for whale watching (seasonal, best from November to April).
